Wear hats! :)

I've talked about fancy dressing in winter and about layering, but when it gets really cold the most important thing is to keep warm! And one of the simplest ways to keep warm is to wear a hat! I know that most women dread it as nobody wants to ruin their hair and hide it under a wool bag ;) Not to mention the possibility of changing into a big snowman with the baggy coats, scarves and hats :) I have to say I used to do everything in my power to avoid wearing hats in the past :) But that has changed and I'm glad it has, because I absolutely love hats now! :)
The variety of nice cosy hats in the stores at the moment can be overwhelming! :) I'm sure everyone can find something that suits them :) There are fluffy hats, 'boyfriend' hats, romantic hats, loose hats, tight hats; hats with pompoms, with studs, with flowers and many many more of all different types, shapes and sizes. You can match them with a scarf or gloves, or just mix different textures and colours. It doesn't really matter what you choose because even though in the past we might not have felt cool in hats, now it's time to change that! How we feel is up to us at the end of the day and you can choose to feel awesome! :)
That's what I decided!
Not only that, but you don't have to worry that you will ruin your elegant  or sexy look with a hat, as there are many options to do otherwise! You can easily make you look cooler with some warm accessories :)
I believe that the look I'm showing you today is made by the hat and the scarf and without it just wouldn't be the same :)

Colder nights out:)

As I've been focusing mainly on the comfortable and everyday outfits, today I have something slightly different for you! :) Now that the hot sunny Summer is gone, we've had to say goodbye to our tanned legs and sexy sandals which made dressing up for a night out so much easier - pick a simple summer dress, or skirt and top, add nude high heel sandals and you were ready for the off!
Now we have to put SO MUCH MORE on, which make dressing up slightly more difficult :)
But not to worry, it's not that hard and there are positives to the Fall/Winter looks :)
First of all you don't have to worry if you're legs are not perfectly tanned, with no bruises  bites or cuts, you don't have to have your pedicure perfectly done AND in black tights your legs will always look slimmer :)
With black tights you have loads of different options: you can wear skirts, shorts, dresses or tunics (you can also replace tights with leggings). Luckily we have also moved away from tan tights as the only option for dresses and brown boots. You can wear black tights with any boots, regardless of the colour or shape.
And if you are not so good with low temperatures you can stick with very thick tights, as there are no rules that would stop you mixing heavier textures with those lighter ones like silk or chiffon.
I'm one of those people who get cold easily that's why my drawers are stocked up with all kinds of thick tights, socks and leg warmers :) If you don't like boots that much or you're simply not ready to say goodbye to your favourite pumps then take some ideas from my previous post and wear them with leg warmers.
If you don't feel like wearing shorts or a tight dress/skirt, you can always wear a loose fit knitted tunic with thick tights and boots, and you can just accessorise with a statement necklace and a clutch.
As you can see the options are numerous and it's not actually that much harder than in the summer, and you have many options to cover your fat days, which in the summer is not that easy! :)
Since most of the shops are full of shiny, sequinned, gold or silver clothes, and I just looove shiny things, for a night out I would wear this golden loose fit dress, of course with thick tights and boots. To break the black and gold combo I mixed it with a tanned jacket and clutch.

Leather and Harleys!

Leather is, has been and probably always will be one of the most popular fashion trends.
Usually when people think leather they see biker boots, heavy leather jacket and a big man with a beard sitting on the Harley Davidson  :)
Luckily fashion moved forward from that ....ahem…look :) Now all the designers in the world are playing with leather in thousands of different ways. From the simple, classy leather skinnies, to girly leather dresses, peplum tops, skirts and shorts. They've even started mixing leather with other fabrics, like cotton, wool, fur, silk, lace or even velvet - basically everything is allowed! :)
You can easily create outfits that suit you without worrying that you are going to look like a member of Hells Angels :) You can go for a girly, classy, casual, bad girl or a good girl look, by mixing leather pieces with any textures you like and you can be sure you won't make a fashion faux pas :)
I went for a tweed jacket with leather inserts and a frilled, leather skirt with golden studs on the edges.
And actually, now that I'm writing this post I've just realized that without planning it I've ended up with a slight Harley Davidson look by wearing the top with an eagle on it! ;) Oh well, I guess it's not a bad look in the end, especially as this is a very girly version of it :)
